Out of the Box

Most vessel sinks sit directly on top of the counter. This can make the height of the sink fairly high to use. In addition the sink may not seem to be part of the counter. Here I have recessed the vessel sink partly into the counter, which makes it more comfortable to use and creates a design that is part of the vanity. Note: in this application the countertop material I used is Vetrazzo - a product made with recycled glass.

Vinyl flooring can look like fake ceramic tile, be extra shinny, and generally have a plastic feel. However, there are some newer products on the market that have a warm matte finish. Here I have used a Mannington printed product that gives some color, design and does not replicate ceramic tile.
