We developed our e-Design packages in order to make our interior design services available to anyone, no matter where they live geographically. Each package is completely virtual, delivered directly to your inbox, saving you both time and money. Your e-design will arrive with everything you need to create your space from start to finish.

We approach our e-Design projects exactly the same way as if we were meeting with you face-to-face, in your home. First, we get to know you (and any other members of your household) through a detailed questionnaire, created to understand your personal style, design preferences, needs and wants, both functional and aesthetic. We will develop a unifying concept for your space, create the floor plan and compile a complete list of the pieces required to implement the design. We will always work within your budget as well as providing you with options for upgrades and additions for further down the road. The items we select will be available for purchase and delivery through our showroom, at a discount to you, and we will also provide alternative options that are available for purchase in your local area or online through a retail website.

Our e-Design packages were created for you if:

• You live outside of the Des Moines, Iowa or Columbus, Ohio metropolitan areas.
• You need help formulating a vision and plan for your space but don’t require a full service interior designer.
• You are on a tight budget.
• You plan to implement the design in stages.
• You prefer to shop for some or all of the items yourself at retail stores.

With each package, you will receive:

• A furniture/floor plan drawn to scale.
• Images of selected furniture, accessories, artwork, etc.
• Recommendations for paint, wallpaper and flooring.
• A complete shopping list with pricing and vendor information.
• Ideas for how to implement the design, including DIY projects, if desired.

e-Design Process

1. Complete the online form to begin the process and purchase your e-Design plan. Payment is required in full before any design work begins.
2. One of our designers will contact you with a welcome email and send you a questionnaire to complete. The questionnaire will help us to evaluate your goals, needs, wants and personal style preferences.
3. You can also email us any inspirational images that you’ve collected or create a Pinterest board with your inspirational images and share it with us. Inspiration can be anything, like a pretty dress or a photo of the beach. It definitely doesn’t need to be of an interior space. It would also be wonderful if you noted what you like about each photograph.
4. The welcome email will also include a link to instructions on how to sketch, measure and photograph your space. Accurate measurement of your space is crucial for creating a design that will work for you.
5. We will create a scaled floor plan (and elevations, if necessary) based on your measurements and photographs.
6. We will choose furniture, accessories, artwork, lighting and everything you need to complete the look and indicate placement on the floor plan.
7. We will compile a detailed shopping list with every item’s dimensions, price, finish and source. All items will be available for purchase locally or online.
8. Finally, we’ll create a complete package with the furniture plan, any additional drawings, inspirational images, mood board and instructions on how to pull it all together and email it directly to your inbox.
